Effortless Transfers - Navigating the Seas with Park & Taxi

For cost conscious cruisers the Park and Taxi car parking option can be a cost- effective option for parking relatively near to the port. It does vary for each Terminal. Public Car Parks (with limited security) and taxi services, this option is not for everyone but is an effective way to navigate your way to your ship.

ARRIVAL

It is advisable to head to the Terminal in the port first to unload your baggage at the baggage pods. Then head off to find your Car Park. Once parked you can then head off to find your Taxi.

TAXI ACCESS

One of the keys to this option is the availability of Taxis, both in booking one in the first place and then the amount of time you have to wait.

PARKING

The second compromise is Security, think parking in your local multi-storey. At some car parks there are barriers and CCTV, but they are open to the public and you park at your own risk.

RETURN JOURNEY

The return can make or break your experience, and again it depends on the availability of Taxis to get you back to your car. On some days the availability is good but on others there can be long queues and/or long waits, especially if there are multiple ships at the port on that day.
