When people are looking for parking, our research suggested that, Security is their top priority, however the majority of information and comparison sites on the internet either focus on just the price, or offer very limited choice.

Ruined holidays and £1000’s in damage repair costs has been and is an ongoing issue for cruisers, caused by scam parking companies operating in and around Southampton.

We launched the Facebook Group, Cruise Parking Tips (Southampton Port) earlier in September this year, and with carparkingtips.co.uk we created a platform to make access to impartial parking information and trusted parking companies easier, giving Cruisers the best of both worlds.

In addition we have built a process to establish a trusted list of parking companies, and leading on from that we have established a certification scheme to offer cruisers an added level of reassurance about the parking choice they make.

This process involves an number of steps, from checking parking sites in person as well as the background of the company and the people involved, to get a Performance, Security and Reliability perspective.
